How do I send off all the Jenkins console output into Splunk via Splunk plugin for Jenkins

Hi,

Have installed and configured splunk plugin for Jenkins together with Splunk App for Jenkins. So far everything seem to be working but I'm not getting the complete console logs in Splunk. I'm I missing something in the plugin config or can someone point me towards the right direction?

NOTE: Have setup the below custom metadata config but it doesn't work:

Data Source: Console Log
Config item: Source Type
Value: json:jenkins_audit:old

I am very keen on the use of "sendSplunkConsoleLog" in pipeline script. Can you please provide documentation covering the use of this object as I can't find it on the wiki page (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Splunk+Plugin+for+Pipeline+Job+Support). We are in a situation where not all pipeline build console logs are moving to splunk. Can you please investigate this for us? thanks

can you share more info about "not getting the complete console logs in Splunk"? Some job console logs didn't show up at all or the app truncated some logs?

1) For Pipeline job, sendSplunkConsoleLog need to be invoked in pipeline script, see also https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Splunk+Plugin+for+Pipeline+Job+Support
2) The app shows 10000 lines for each build, to workaround this, please filter log text so you can get a smaller result set.

I have tried that but i am not whole console output on splunk. We are printing some details which can be seen in jenkins console output but it is not available on splunk .
