How can I send historical data from Splunk to HDFS (version: Hadoop 2.6.0-cdh5.13.1)?

Hello,

I need to know how to send historical data from Splunk to Cloudera (HDFS version: Hadoop 2.6.0-cdh5.13.1).
I am reading about Hadoop Data Roll, but it is supported on the following Hadoop distributions and versions:
Apache Hadoop: 0.20, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7
Cloudera Distribution Including Apache Hadoop: 4, 4.2, 4.3.0, 4.4 (HA NN and HA JT), 5.0, 5.3, 5.3 (HA), 5.4, 5.5, 5.6

Do you know if it will still work with my version?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, Hadoop Data Roll will work with the version you are using. The docs should be saying Cloudera 5.*
As you can from the Splunk Analytics for Hadoop page (Hadoop Data Roll is an extension of Splunk Analytics for Hadoop), Cloudera 5.* is supported: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/HadoopAnalytics/Systemrequirements
