How can I calculate lat/long from a physical address?

I've got some data in Splunk that I'd like to put on the maps app but the only data I have are physical addresses, e.g. "123 Happy St, Gleeville 12345".

How can I convert these fields into something usable by the maps app?

Thanks - I'd love to be able to plot the actual street address, which Google can do but would be tricky with a CSV lookup. However I've locked it down to postcode for now and used the method suggested.
