HipChat Room Notification Alert: How should the app be configured?

I am finding it problematic to set up the HipChat Room Notification Alert app to reach our hipchat server. The logs are returning:

./splunkd.log:38958:01-09-2017 15:53:03.703 +0000 ERROR sendmodalert - action=hipchat STDERR -
The page https://hipchat.domain.co.uk/room/11/notification?auth_token=<****************>; does not exist. You may have clicked an old link or mistyped the URL.

I have tried different versions of the base url, including adding /v1 and /v2 at the end (which in the logs always seems to gets truncated as the log always shows the ...co.uk/room/.... URL). I have also tried both the room ID and the room name. And I have tried changing the .py script to change the URL to .co.uk/chat/room/11... which is the URL on which the room web chat can be accessed.

Worked with /v2/, but the problem was that I needed the SSL certificates of our server to be added to our searchheads.

Can you share what configuration files/settings you changed and how you added the SSL certificates to your search heads?

I'm not sure if you resolved your problem yet or not, but I finally got mine to work by setting this for my Base Server URL:

https:fqdn/v2/

So just replace fqdn with hipchat.domain.co.uk and you should be all set.

Currently this is my config, but I can seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?

I have also tried
