Have API changes broken the Google Voice App?

Has Google perhaps made API changes which break the python collection scripts?

Seeing nothing but 404s in the gvoice_app.log:

2015-08-13 00:33:01,946 ERROR ('unknown', 'HTTP Error 404')
2015-08-13 00:38:01,939 ERROR ('unknown', 'HTTP Error 404')

Looks like things have been broken for me for quite a while. Any others having similar issues?

I haven't been maintaining this app for quite some time. A possible problem is that Google might have disabled their legacy method of authentication for its services, which was used in this app. A modern way of authenticating assumes deployment of an app on some external web server.
