Has anyone integrated Splunk with Spotfire?

Has anyone integrated Splunk with Spotfire. Basically the idea is to have Splunk data made available to Spot fire(BI Tool) for visualization, I am aware of the ODBC integration, please post your comments if any of you have more information on this topic

have you been able to integrate Splunk with Spotfire for data visualization of Splunk data in Spotfire?
I'm trying to achieve the same thing but would like to avoid using ODBC.

Any hints would be appreciated.
