After installing the Excel App I noticed that a standard USER role can't use the app and you have to be a POWER user. I tried setting the app permissions to "Everyone" and I still got an "404 Not found error" as that user. Can a Standard User use this app? Are there other permissions that need to be set?
Looking at my notes, this was by design. It's the permissions on the app AND on the flashtimeline_excel view itself. If you want, you can change that read perm AND the app read perm and it will work.
