Error configuring the app

I've experienced this error with Splunk 6.1 on MacOsX and on Windows 7:

In handler 'localapps': Cannot find item for POST arg_name="/data/inputs/script/.%5Cbin%5Cstream_tweets.py/enabled"

How can I correct this error?

Ok, I've read another post where there is the solution but now I've another question: no data update.

How can I resolve it? I've read that it needs REST API but I've no error about credentials.
