Elasticsearch: Can universal forwarders be used to pull data from to Splunk cloud?

Hi All,

One of the applications in my project is storing data in Elasticsearch and the client wants to send that data to Splunk cloud.

I have read many questions on this but was not able to get a proper answer to that.
Can anyone please let me know if we can do it or not.
If yes, please do let me know the steps also.
