Customize Formatter Dialog in Custom Visualization

Hello all,I am developing a custom visualization, and hence, a custom formatter dialog for it. I need to hide some controls when the formatter dialog is shown depending on some conditions, but I've been unable to execute any code when de user clicks on the button "Format Visualization".

The only documentation on this subject that I could found is at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/AdvancedDev/CustomVizFormatterApiRef

I've tried using every event available, but there is always the same issue: the formatter dialog is not rendered into the DOM. Apparently the formatter dialog is rendered only when the user clicks on the button "Format Visualization".

Is there any method which I could override to provide my custom behavior when the user clicks on the button "Format Visualization"?
