Could not load lookup=LOOKUP-dropdowns

In search & reporting I get this error and no data from my search: Could not load lookup=LOOKUP-dropdowns.

How do I fix this?

somequestions:

1. did you created the lookup definition for your lookup?
2. did you created the lookup (and the definition) in the same app or in a different one?
3. if in a different one, did you globally shared your lookup or not?
4. has your role the grants to access the lookup?
