Check Point 640 and Splunk

I am working on a Check Point 640 and logging to Splunk, and was wondering if the Check Point App (OPSEC LEA) will work for this?

The list of prerequisites on Splunk Docs for OPSEC LEA http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/OPSEC-LEA/latest/Install/Systemrequirements also mentions the list of support Check Point products and versions.

if the device can be communicated with using OPSEC LEA, then it should work.
