Can we install splunk apps by API in a cluster mode ?

Hi all,

We would like to insall a splunk apps by using the API in a cluster mode.
In a single mode, we suceed to do ti. But can we do it in a cluster mode ?

We saw in splunk documentation that the API will be depreaced in 6.6

For information :
Splunk version: 6.5.4 but soon 7.1
Our cluster is composed by : 3 SH server , 2 Indexeurs server, 1 server which is the cluster master + deployement + deployer and 1 forwarder
