Can not able to download Splunk Add-on Builder in Splunk Enterprise Version - 7.3.0

Hi Splunk Experts,

Recently I'm facing an issue which is quite exceptional issue.

In my Splunk PROD environment which has Splunk Enterprise Version - 7.1.0 and recently I have updated the Splunk Enterprise version - 7.3.0 in my Splunk DEV.

I can able to find Splunk Add-on Builder in 7.1.0 in Splunk DEV but I could not able to find Splunk Add-on Builder in 7.3.0 Splunk PROD.

Can anyone please help me on this matter? If you have any proper Splunk Documentation of it, then please attach it also.

Not sure exactly what you mean with that you are not able to find it?

Add--on Builder is a seperate app that you need to download and install from here:

Actually when I'm trying to install the Splunk Add-on Builder from Splunk --> Manage Apps --> Browse more apps -->Splunk Add-on Builder I can found it in 7.1.0 but when I'm trying in 7.3.0 the same way, I couldn't able to find it.

Do you know the reason?

Hello,

Can you check if the folder splunk_app_addon-builder exists in .../splunk/etc/apps directory?
And then check if in your ../splunk/etc/apps/splunk_app_addon-builder/default/app.conf the ui is set to is_visible=true
