Add-on Builder Blank Screen and Argument validation for scheme=validation_mi

Hello, I'm having an issue validating any Add-On's within the Splunk Add-on builder app. While looking in the splunkd.log, I discovered the following errors and was hoping that someone had a fix :

09-02-2018 16:31:10.943 -0700 ERROR ModularInputs - Argument validation for scheme=validation_mi: killing process, because executing it took too long (over 30000 msecs).
09-02-2018 16:31:11.437 -0700 INFO  ModularInputs - Argument validation for scheme=validation_mi: script running failed (exited with code 255).

This modular input is not supposed to run manually. Please go to AoB validation page, and follow http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddonBuilder/2.2.0/UserGuide/Validate
