Why does Splunk KVStore engine migration alert trigger even after engine upgrade?

We recently upgraded our KVstore Storage Engine to WiredTiger, after previously using MMAPv1.
When I run:

splunk show kvstore-status

It says:

storageEngine: wiredTiger

Yet we keep getting the "Storage engine migration recommended" alert.
Did any one else run into this? Does anyone know why? And if there is a way to disable it?
