Alerting

How do you create an alert that triggers when a user clicks a link in a dashboard?

We have a link to a corresponding dashboard inside the content of an alert. We are triggering an alert after 10:35 amET, which is a query of SPLUNK data.

If the on call click is on the dashboard link in the alert, would the dashboard be the current date 9-10:35 am ET?

I read and set up the auto refresh delay to -1h35m

Is this all that is needed?

You should be able to set the default earliest to @d+9h and default latest to @d+10h+35m In the simplexml time picker input.

Thank you. That worked perfectly. This prevents me, manually step the time range manually for the dashboard.

just so i understand, you want the dashboard to load for the time range of 9-10:35 am ET when a user clicks the link? what about when a user goes to the dashboard ad-hoc?

Yes, when they go to the dashboard and click the link. Is there a way?
