Hi,

I've configured the mail server with "no Security" But I get this error when an Alert is trying to send out an email...

I had this today as well, my Email Security was set to None but I have details in the username and password fields - which was somehow tripping the setting to still be sent. Removed them and working fine now.

Hey Chentanvartak,

Sorry but I am not sure if this is the solution to your problem but I have had a similar issue where I had Email Security enabled by accident which was causing the same error in my logs.

To resolve this I went to Manager => System settings => Email alert settings and changed "Email Security" to none from enable SSL.

Within there settings there is also the option to set the username and password for authentication as well.

I hope this helped.

Regards Vince

Hi,

I've already setup the user password for the "Email Security" = none.

But it is still not working.
