Why does Splunk documentation not mention Tab as a delimiter character

Hi,

The "Tab" character is shown as one of the delimiter characters in the automatic field extraction UI, so why is tab not mentioned in the documentation ?

Considering that tab is offered as an option in the UI but not mentioned in the documentation, what would be correct answer in the certification exams ?
