can we change the position of the search button in search form ?

Hi..

I have a created a simple form which consists of a textbox to take the search key input to perform the search.In this form which i have created the search button is appeaing above the textbox i mentioned .. can i change the position of the search button , i.e can i place the textbox and the search button to appear on the same line..Is that possible ?? If so can you provide me an example of it..

You'd want to alter the CSS in 'application.css' for the relevant app (e.g. 'search'). Firebug (or other page inspection tools) can help you find which keys to alter. More information can be found here (Splunk.com).

Not without more information. The filename would most likely be application.css, but the application context is what I wouldn't know. That depends upon where you created your form, whether as part of the default app set (search and lancher apps are common locations for user-generated content), or as part of your own application. Within that application, there would be an 'appserver' subdirectory, and your changes to the CSS would reside in that directory.
