can i use Table Tag in the Advance DashBoard

Hi ,

I have created a advance dashboard with the module tags and all.can i use the table tag to display my search results in a table format in my advance dashboard.I tried but couldnt get the desired output...Please help..

If I understand you correctly you want an advanced xml version of your simple xml view..

With you current view add the following syntax to your address in the URL bar, whilst viewing your current dashboard..

?showsource=1

i.e.

http://<splunkServer>:<splunkPort>/app/<yourApp>/<yourView>?showsource=1

This will show your how Splunk converts your view to advanced xml.
