Why am I getting error "kv store disabled in this splunk distribution" running "|inputlookup kvstore_lookup" in Splunk Free version 6.3?

I'm getting this error while executing |inputlookup kvstore_lookup

kv store disabled in this splunk distribution

i have tested in 6.3

KV store is available under the free license. Are you running a 32-bit or 64-bit build? See the KV store system requirements in the Admin Manual. KV store is enabled by default in Splunk Enterprise version 6.2 and later.
