Swap X-axis & Y-axis in Chart

freephoneid
Path Finder

Hi,

I've a bar graph containing some values on X-axis & its count on Y-axis (....chart count by contentValue...).

How can I flip the values of X & Y axis so that count will show on X-axis & my values will be displayed on Y-axis?

Can it be done without modifying query?

Thanks!

Sure, just select column chart (rather than bar chart) in the Splunk Advanced Charting view or on your dashboard.

If your wanna transform the event's rows and columns, use ... | transpose , or do you just wanna switch the column chart to bar chart?

Keep in mind with transpose, the default limit of swapped rows is 5, so you might want to specify a larger number if you use it.
