I notice, by testing, that Splunk CLI searches do not appear to be subject to Splunk's limits.
This behavior is useful to us as I can use it to provide controlled exports.
However I cannot see any documentation that explains how/why CLI search bypasses limits in this way. Has anyone else noticed this?
