How are scheduled searches handled for an app if the app is installed on multiple searchheads? Will the search run on both searcheads? (Searchhead pooling is disabled.)

Correct. If the searchheads are not in a pool, they will each run all searches which are enabled and scheduled. They are independent and unaware of each other.

In searchhead pooling, the first searchhead that receives a lock will run that specific search at that scheduled time. Each scheduled time is up for grabs by any searchhead participating in a pool.
