Splunk Search

How to create a text input box in a dashboard that populates to all panels?

Is this possible?

Just an input box at the top of the dashboard where I can pass on a search item to all panels?

Looking for this on Splunk.com, I can find examples of radio buttons and drop-downs, but I'm looking for a box where I can type in something to search for & have it populate through all panels.

The dashboard examples app doesn't seem to have it, but it seems like this would be a typical thing to want to try to do.

Yes it's called the text box input.

Look at the form input type textbox here:

Thanks,

Was able to yank out one of the examples, populate my searches, insert the token variable & worked very well. Even some unexpected bonus's. Use of wild cards & search terms like OR.
