How to create a Splunk query to help determine profit/loss revenue?

this is a daunting task at least to me but I am looking for a query to start with that would help identify number of staff, hours worked etc etc etc to find if we are overstaffed and show money loss.

You'll need to include more information if you want help with a query. Things like what your events look like for hours, costs, profits, etc., and how you would like them aggregated and calculated.
