Splunk Search

How do I use a timerange picker in conjunction with a saved search on a dashboard?

I have some dashboards that have many panels. What I would like to do is convert these panels to saved searches and then add them to a dashboard.

BUT
I would still like to keep the functionality of the timerange picker in place. Is this something that can be done with tokens? Im not sure this can even be done but is worth a try. Maybe Im just not doing it correctly haha?

Thanks for the tips
