I'd like to clear my search history. How do I do that?
Delete the following file:
$SPLUNK_HOME/var/log/splunk/searches.log
Nevermind, I think he is doing this because he's a sales guy and has to demo Splunk in front of an audience. I guess not necessary a bad thing.
Nothing questionable, just a shared login that I needed to clear out the search history from.
What questionable searches have you been running recently that require you to clear your history? Should an ER for a "private searching" feature be filed?
