Customize the startpage for an user

Hi

I made a dashboard for a user in Splunk 4.1.7 and now I would like to set this dashboard as the default startpage. I have tried a little bit with the prefs.conf but without success.
Is it possible too, to at the startpage for a group?

Maybe someone bring light in dark

You can have the dashboard and any other views you want in a separate app that you set as the default for the user. More info on settings default apps here: http://splunk-base.splunk.com/answers/5/how-do-i-set-the-default-app-in-splunk
