Add a button in Dashboard using XML and run a search command to show the result

Hi,
I want to create a button in dashboard using XML. And on click of this button, a search command should run which will show the output below it.
I have tried many examples but couldn't achieve it.
Kindly Help...!!!

Download "UIExamples" , "SideView Utils" ,"Splunk Dashboard Examples" from app stores. You can find many examples ( just copy an paste them ). Put module Button on the top of a Search module on your view XML this is called downstream from module to another.
