How to resolve DB Connect connection issue: "cannot open database requested by login"?

While i am creating connection with mssql instance, in DB connect i am getting "cannot open database requested by login. The login failed." But DB team can login with the same user and access the same instance. What is causing the issue.
I am using JTDS driver with windows authentication. i am using db connect 3.11 version which is latest. Any help would be greatly appeciated. Thanks in advance.
