Our biggest challenge right now is integrating Splunk with GCP data in general. The integration with GCP works but is not massively granular in collection terms and in mapping audit info to ES standards appears to be non-existent meaning we currently cant use ES without considerable work. I would have thought that Splunk would have a data model for GCP mapping to ES but so far I haven’t found anything.
We also want to visualise our estate in GCP similar to the options available in the AWS app but again GCP integration seems to be lagging behind AWS in these areas.
