Why did we receive crash log: fatal signal 6?

When I try to start the splunkd service, it gives me the following crash log.

Cause:
Signal sent by PID 2084 running under UID 26001.

Read the full crash log. There should be few lines (after or between those junk looking lines) which will give more information on the probable cause.
