Hi,
I am trying to set-up LDAP authentication.
The target LDAP host is AD LDS on Windows server 2012R2.
However, I encountered the following error when adding new LDAP strategy.
"Failed to retrieve a group with these settings. Consult your LDAP admin or see splunkd.log with ScopedLDAPConnection set to DEBUG"
Probably, It is caused that the LDAP on AD LDS does not have any attributes class is group.
Unfortunately, I am not able to change LDAP configurations on the AD LDS because it is managed by other organization.
So do you have any ways to use other class attributes as group on Splunk?
