How to upgrade a deployment server on prem running on Splunk Enterprise version 8.0.5?

Hello,

I have a single deployment server on prem running on splunk enterprise version 8.0.5, i am planning to upgrade it to v9.

Can someone help me with the upgradation steps?

just read those and follow instructions. Basically in distributed environment it enough to update 1st LM and then DS (unless you have separate DS license, when only DS needs to update). If you have another roles on DS, then my proposal is divide those to another servers before update. Only LM can be at the same server.
