How to remove dependencies on the M2Crypto and Swig libraries?

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my Splunk instance and could find the below error message for few apps , while performing the upgrade Readiness check. 

Remove dependencies on the M2Crypto and Swig libraries.

how can we address this. Any suggestion, much appreciated.
