What is the recommended Stripe size for Splunk when cutting your RAID settings on the Indexers? There was a similar question asked here, but we're not too satisfied with the answer:

We think the stripe size should depend on the size of the files being written, or the maximum possible in order to reduce latency, or 1Mb. Do people agree with this 1Mb stripe size or do you like smaller stripe sizes? We are using 240GB SSDs in RAID1. Thank you in advance.
