I'm running splunk for enterprise security, 3.1.1

I've turned on all of the delivered correlation searches... even so, many of my dashboards are empty. e.g.

advanced thread
http category analysis
http user agent analysis
url length analysis

are all empty. how can I debug this?

For the following dashboards in ES:

  • URL Length Analysis
  • Advanced Threat
  • HTTP Category Analysis
  • HTTP User Agent Analysis

Tag your data with "web" AND "proxy”.

To verify that authentication data is present, use this search:

| datamodel Web Web search

To verify that events are being accelerated by the data model correctly, use this search (be careful not to search across all time):

| tstats summariesonly=true count from datamodel=Web by user

For the ES dashboard New Domain Analysis:
Tag data with "proxy" AND "web".

To verify that authentication data is present, use this search:

| datamodel Domain_Analysis All_Domains search

To verify that events are being accelerated by the data model correctly, use this search (be careful not to search across all time):

| tstats summariesonly=true count from datamodel=Domain_Analysis by user
