Help ! add manual data to a sourcetype

Hi,

I am creating an dashboard and want to know, if we have any possibility to add data manually to sourcetype.

Example :
Requirement : A input field where I can manually add data and click submit.

Required Result : Data get stored in Splunk with time.

Hi sumanssah,

You can use collect search command to index data into Splunk. You can specify index name & sourcetype with collect command.
