Extra Visualizations not showing in Enterprise Security

I have installed extra visualization (e.g. Sankey). The visualization option is available in the search app and the sankey app, but Enterprise Security is not aware of the extra visualizations. Any ideas? When editing the XML of dashboard manually, I get the error " No matching visualization found for type: sankey_diagram, in app: sankey_diagram_app"

This has to do with app imports. App imports prevents ES from importing everything installed on the system in order to prevent apps from inadvertently messing up your ES install.

You can add the app to the list of app imports per https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/ES/latest/Install/ImportCustomApps. Once this is done, ES should see it.
