The Enterprise Security Install App says I have the latest version of ES 2.0.1 . Why is it not prompting to upgrade to 2.0.2?
Running Splunk 4.3.3 on Linux64.
rroberts,
The Enterprise Security Install App itself is an app whose sole purpose is deploying Enterprise Security. It's own version is according to the version of Enterprise Security that it deploys. To get the most recent version of Enterprise Security, the install app must be updated and then run.
Similar to other apps that have an update available, there should be notification from Splunk Web's home page, near the top, that reads "app update available: update in manager ". Follow that link to get to the manager page that allows you to update.

Yes, however I believe we should update the terminology on es_upgrader view. On my view it states:
Enterprise Security Install App
You are running the latest version of Splunk App for Enterprise Security 2.0.1. You will be notified of future updates.
In actuality there is now a new 2.0.2 version.
