App download

I’m a student and I want to download this app. Why can’t I download it?

@reyo If you are referring to Splunk ES App,  As @PickleRick mentioned,

Its a paid, premium product, and Splunk does not allow anyone to download it freely from Splunkbase. It does not appear as downloadable for accounts without an ES entitlement.

What app is it you’re trying to download? Are you logged in to Splunkbase before attempting to download an app?

Update; I didnt see you had tagged this under Enterprise Security which requires your account to be added to an allowlist for downloading, this is generally only done when Enterprise Security is purchased and is limited to the duration of your license only. If you need access to this then please consider speaking to your Splunk account team who may be able to assist.

Since you post in the "Enterprise Security" section, I assume you're talking about Enterprise Security app. This is a premium app and as such is not available for free download. While the core Splunk Enterprise product is available with either limited Free License or a time-limited Trial License, there is no such version available of Enterprise Security. It is available for download only for paying customers (and even then - only for the person designated in the license contract).
