I dont see "Receive Data" section under "Settings - > Forward and Receiving"

Does it not shows up for trail accounts?
I am trying to configure splunk cloud with forwarder in my local machine. I managed to setup forwarder but data is not showing up in splunk. I think my receiver is not configured or is this something else?

I am not a Splunk Cloud customer, but I suspect that in Splunk Cloud, receiving ports and addresses are setup for you.

If I remember correctly part of your sandbox should have included a way to download an app that you install on your forwarders to configure them to send data to Splunk Cloud. The cloud docs make reference to a required credentials package that must be installed.
