Send kubernetes logs first to heavy forwarder then to splunk cloud?

Hey guys,

we use Heavy Forwarders as gateways to Splunk Cloud, so the servers which are logging do not send their logs directly into the internet. Now we want to use the splunk otel collector to send kubernetes logs. Is it possible to send the kubernetes logs at first to our heavy forwarders instead of directly into the cloud?
