Reporting Requirements for Pega Application

We have the following requirements for performance monitoring for a Pega Application:

1. Average System Response Times (LCP) Performance level per month (75th Percentile Response Time: <=2.5 seconds)

2. Time to download reports, such as spreadsheets containing raw data or documents containing applications.

3. API Response Time - Time to first byte per API Response Call per month

4. Total Volume of API calls in a month

Can Splunk cover all these requirements?

What would the minimum cost be to implement this?

Hi @JuliaEY

If you are referring to a pega.com application then you should be able to send the logs to Splunk using the Splunk HTTP Event Collector (HEC) - See https://docs.pega.com/bundle/pega-cloud/page/pega-cloud/pc/pcs-logs-streaming-splunk.html for more info on this.

If these logs contain to relevant metrics/events then you will be able to create appropriate dashboards/searches/alerts in Splunk to provide the information you need.

Regarding the costs of this, it really depends on the volume of logs (typically avg. event size x number of events) but the best approach here I think would be to contact a Splunk Partner or Splunk Sales team to get an evaluation/trial/Proof of Concept setup as this will give you the opportunity to validate that the requirements are met and also to determine the costing for the ingested data.
