Splunk AppDynamics

Use of Logger name in Request Agent Log File.

Hi,

I have been trying to fetch Agent logs through AppDynamics controller itself.

I am not able to understand the use of " Logger name " in Request agent file.

I have tried to download multiple logging files with different logger name eg: com.appdynamics,

com.appdynamics.BusinessTransaction but the files which are getting downloaded have same size and same type of files( like BT's and Byte code).

Could you please explain me the use of this tab ?

Ujjwal.

Hi @Ujjwal.chhabra,

I've just found out that "Logger Name" means Logger Program/Library

Here is some additional info on how to custom loggers here: https://docs.appdynamics.com/21.7/en/application-monitoring/configure-instrumentation/error-detectio...

Note: The Docs team is going to work on improving the documentation to be more clear.
