Host name issue with JIRA integration

When trying to integrate Jira service with APPD

in the hostname of Jira : when entered it says host instance is incorrect 

is there any dependency Jira hosted internally or externally?

I have checked the resources provided.

However, it didn't help to resolve the issue.

Can I know what is a pre-requisite to Jira to appd integration? Our AppD is on SAAS and Jira is hosted internally.

JIRA version is v8.5.5
