insecure login Splunk not working with IE

I'm developing a web page which displays several Splunk charts. In order for users to view Splunk charts on the web page, I enabled insecure login and embeded username/password in the Urls of Splunk charts.

It works fine with Firefox. However, with IE, it doesn't display Splunk charts, instead, it reports a "cookies not supported" error. There is a way to solve this problem by enabling cookies in IE. However, it's not a preferred solution to most users.

Does anyone know alternative solutions? Instead of enabling cookies in web browsers.

Thanks

Make the Splunk search heads a member of Trusted Sites or Intranet Sites.

If all your users are in a common domain, you can push a GPO to set this. (This will allow cookies from Splunk, but not from other systems)
