Why is there an error "Size Limit Exceeded when trying to configure Splunk 7.0.2 with LDAP authentication?

Hi all,

We are trying to configure Splunk with Ldap authentication.

However doing this, We have a message:

LDAP Server Warning: Size Limit Exceeded

We tried to change the value in the Web GUI:

Search request size limit

from 1 000 to 10 000.

But the result is the same.

We tried also to change the value

search request size limit

in limits.conf

But the result is the same.

How can we solve this issue?

We will not change the configuration of our Active Directory LDAP as we don't have an impact on all our others application and as we don't want to introduce latency for other applications.

Does Splunk work with Ldap Paging?
